DONATE TODAY!

Dear Supporters of the San Antonio Wind Symphony,

The San Antonio Wind Symphony is a group of volunteer musicians who combine their talents and services to create an opportunity for life-long musical expression and enjoyment; to enrich, educate and entertain the general public through live performances; to enhance music education in the community by partnering with college, high school and middle school band programs; and to preserve the cultural history of the wind band repertoire.  Our membership represents a wide variety of occupations, including public school music teachers, business owners, medical workers, lawyers, university and military musicians.  We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization as determined by the federal government and all donations to the Wind Symphony are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

As we begin our 16th concert season, we will continue to perform a variety of the finest literature in the band repertoire as well as transcriptions from other genres of music.  Our upcoming season is filled with musical diversity and concerts will be performed in different venues across the San Antonio area.

  • Christmas Concert – UTSA; December 16th, 2018, 6 pm – will feature holiday favorites in small and large ensembles

  • Guest Artist Concert – John M. Harlan High School (NISD); February 24th, 2019, 6 pm – will feature 2 soloists from the United States Coast Guard Band (graduates from San Antonio area high schools)

  • Joint Concert with The San Antonio Youth Wind Ensemble – UTSA – April 14th, 2019, 6 pm

  • Movie Concert – UTSA; May 19th, 2019, 6 pm – will feature a wide variety of music from Movies and Broadway

In order to meet our goals for this season, we need your help.  We are seeking monetary donations in order to continue to provide high quality music for San Antonio and the surrounding areas.  Please consider becoming a Partner with the San Antonio Wind Symphony.  Your generous donation provides support to a non-profit organization that is committed to excellence in music education and the performing arts.
